Karina Vega was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and from a young age knew her passion for hair styling would eventually lead her to pursue hair styling as a career.
Karina has been a hairstylist for over 20years, in this time has had the opportunity to work with and be mentored by some of the top artists in hair- Renato Campora, Danilo Dixon, Bob Recine, Jenny Cho. These opportunities have allowed her to contribute to many editorial, commercial and fashion campaigns, and participate in New York Fashion Week and the Vienna Life Ball.
Some of her clients include Levi’s, Reformation, The Cw, Modcloth, Brighton, Smashbox Makeup, Johnny Was,and many more.
